Our mixed animal private practice is located in the beautiful central Sierra foothills between Yosemite and Tahoe on Highway 49. Our business is approximately 90% small animal, and 10% equine and mixed large animal.

Angels Camp Veterinary Hospital is located in the Sierra foothills, two hours from San Francisco, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. We are an AAHA accredited small/mixed animal practice and we are looking for a compassionate, motivated and energetic veterinarian. Join our team of doctors and enjoy the opportunity to exercise all your veterinary skills.  Our facility has three exam rooms, one main treatment room, separate surgery and dental suites with dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, digital x-ray and a generous doctor to support staff ratio, including RVTs.

We have recently acquired a state-of-the-art CT Scanner, which greatly enhances our diagnostic capabilities.

We provide a collaborative doctor environment and welcome ongoing Mentorship programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide veterinary services to small/mixed animal patients
• Assume increasing client responsibilities
• Perform/assist in surgical procedures
• Become familiar with and utilize all diagnostic equipment
• Work with technicians to provide services to patients
• Follow up with clients on a regular basis to ensure quality of care
• Maintain accurate and timely notes and paperwork regarding case progress
• Prescribe medicines as required and adhere to reporting procedures
• Collaborate with other Doctors to ensure the highest quality of care and services
