Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach is located on the border of Huntington Beach & Westminster. We strive to offer our clients the best state of the art technology and specialty veterinary care available. Our staff members are dedicated to the care of animals and they are willing to do whatever is necessary to make your pet comfortable with the highest quality standards of any veterinary facility. Our facility provides a wide variety of pet products and services including full veterinary services, pet grooming, pet boarding, and a full inventory of diets and pet supplies. Regardless of a pet's stage in life, we have the selection of the products to keep them healthy. We think of our facility as a place of healing, warmth and goodwill. With a staff dedicated to attending to the best interest of both the patient and client, we strive to fulfill our mission of providing the most comprehensive veterinary care in a warm and caring environment.
Company History
The Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach was established in 1978 by Dr. James Diefenbach and became certified by the American Animal Hospital Association as a practice of excellence in 1981. The hospital has served the city of Huntington Beach and surrounding communities of Westminster, Fountain Valley, Seal Beach, Anaheim, Midway City, and Long Beach for over 30 years. After Dr. D retired, his long time associate, Dr. Michelle Coran, purchased the hospital and continues the legacy of quality medicine and excellent care that Dr. D began.
Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach continues to be a leader in the community, providing veterinary medical care for the Huntington Beach Police Department, U.S. Coast Guard, and other law enforcenment agencies. In addition, Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach has partnered with the Seal Beach Animal Care Center to provide medical care for the shelter pets. AHHB also works closely with community rescue groups and welfare agencies to assist pets in need.
