Company Overview
AnimalSave is an animal welfare organization with a thirty year history rescuing dogs and cats and adopting them to loving homes. For the past seven years, AnimalSave has operated a low-cost spay/neuter clinic that has altered over 13,500 dogs and cats, greatly reducing the number of homeless animals in our community.
Company History
Beginning as a grass roots organization in the early 1970's AnimalSave/Golden Empire Humane Society rescued last chance dogs and cats from local shelters and put them in foster homes until they were adopted into their forever home. AnimalSave has continued to grow to meet the needs of the community and its companion animals. In 2012, AnimalSave purchased the AnimalSave Center where it runs a low-cost spay/neuter clinic, houses cats on-site in the Cat Adoption Room, operates a thrift store and book nook for a portion of its funding, and carries out its mission to transform the lives of cats and dogs by providing humane education, affordable spay and neuter services and finding loving homes.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
AnimalSave spay/neuters over 1,900 dogs and cats each year and rescues and finds homes for 300 dogs and cats each year.
