We were just voted 2nd place out of 91 veterinary hospitals! With your help, we hope to be voted in first place next year!

Country Oaks Pet Hospital is rapidly growing small animal practice!
We are employ people who has the skills, knowledge, and passion to provide high quality veterinary care for their clients and patients. Our employees are passionate about veterinary medicine, possess knowledge of current developments in the industry, and always work to remain relevant in our constantly changing profession!
Our new facility is a state-of-the-art building designed with our patient’s and staffs physical and emotional well-being in mind. The practice is looking towards the future but will always honor the time-tested practice of superior client service.
Our facility has all the necessary diagnostic tools to provide the highest quality medicine possible. We have in house IDEXX laboratory suite, IDEXX digital radiology suite, utilize Cornerstone for medical record management, and have in house ultrasound, telemedicine for radiography and ultrasound consultation. We have a beautifully designed reception area with separate lobbies for canines and felines that includes fireplaces with calming videos playing over them, two surgical suites, six exam rooms including rooms specifically designed for feline patients (each exam room has calming videos and soothing sounds playing), dedicated dental suite, calming garden for stressed canine examinations or end of life services and much more. We have a conference room, games, treadmill and exercise bikes.
Certified Feline Friendly Practice, Fear Free Certified Staff and we are working on being the first clinic in the west that is a Fear Free Certified Practice.
The Sacramento area is a wonderful place to live! We have excellent restaurants, art and culture, community events, professional sports teams, lakes, rivers, hiking and running trails. We can take short day trips, to the Napa Valley, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Skiing, the coast and so much more!
Company History
Country Oaks has been a part of the Sacramento community since 1967. With new ownership in 2015, we have finally completed our major renovation.
In 2018 we have received our Feline Friendly Certification
We've just celebrated our one year anniversary as Certified Fear Free Practice.
