Company Overview
Moorpark Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1990 and has a large and loyal client base. Our hospital received AAHA’s 2016 Practice of the Year Finalist Award, distinguishing us as one of the top four hospitals in the United States and Canada. In order to offer the best care, we have adopted special techniques for cats and became Ventura County’s only Gold Certified Cat Friendly Practice by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) in 2014. This means we do everything possible to provide a calming environment for cats and minimize the stress surrounding veterinary visits.
In our quest to offer our clients the best quality medicine, we have built an exceptional and compassionate team. With three trained and registered veterinary technicians, and two exceptional and experienced doctors, we are here to be a resource for pet’s needs and we take pride in offering pets the highest quality of care. We offer state of the art care including, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental digital radiographs, in-house blood chemistries and CBCs, EKG, and comprehensive anesthetic monitors and more.
We are proud to be active in the community. We’ve sponsored food drives, raised funds for the local shelters and rescue groups, and assisted with emergency animal services. We provide school tours to educate youth about animal care.
